　   We perform contract processing for metal surface hardening treatment (Kanac treatment). Kanac treatment is a gas nitriding treatment method based on our unique manufacturing method, and is a surface hardening treatment that uses the diffusion phenomenon of nitrogen.
　   Nitrogen is diffused into the steel surface and reacts with alloying elements (mainly Cr, Mo, V) contained in the base metal, forming a hardened layer (diffusion layer). The diffusion layer, in which nitrides such as CrN and MoN are dissolved as a solid solution, suppresses the formation of a brittle nitrogen compound layer, and becomes denser towards the outermost surface, resulting in high residual compressive stress and a gentle hardness distribution. . There is extremely little dimensional change or surface roughness before and after treatment, and a uniform hardened layer can be obtained even in complex shapes and deep holes.
