The Hull cell test is a test method that uses a Hull cell water tank, a power supply, an anode plate, and a cathode plate to change the distance between the poles with the anode to give a gradient to the current distribution state in order to observe wide current density range at once. By observing slight changes, you can find the limit current density, the gloss range, the ability and tendency of additives, the presence or absence of impurities, the effect of filtration (presence or absence of roughness), the balance of the plating bath, etc. These data enable us to prevent plating trouble.
