ABC powder fire extinguisher

X-series pressure accumulation type

The ABC powder fire extinguisher is currently the most prevalent fire extinguisher providing the excellent fire extinguishing capability for all causes of the fire, such as Class A fire (regular fire), Class B fire (oil fire) and Class C fire (electrical fire) and other fires. The fire extinguishing agents used in YAMATO PROTEC's ABC powder fire extinguishers are recycled type and compatible with the requirements for the Recycling Society.

The new pressure accumulation type fire extinguisher developed with the consideration of the challenges in the fire extinguishers such as "the prevention of explosion accidents in the aged fire extinguishers", "environmental considerations", "life-cycle cost savings" and the like. The fire extinguisher designed with a standard service life of 10 years providing a safe long-term use with considerations on environmental impacts.

The first fire extinguisher with Japanese quality standard

that has obtained the TIS* certification

*TIS=Thailand Industrial Standard
(Thailand Industrial Standard)
We recommend to replace the old fire extinguisher with a new one.
Consultation on the replacement is available in Japanese.

In Japan, the service life of a fire extinguisher is in the order of 10 years.

Reinforced liquid (neutral) fire extinguisher

The new YNL-series pressure accumulation type

ACapable of surely and securely extinguishing Class A fire (regular fire) through its cooling action and powerful penetration action.

BFor Class B fire (oil fire), the fire extinguishing agent released in a foam state quickly seals the oil surface to surely and securely prevent the recurrence of the fire.

This type of fire extinguishers are capable of surely and securely extinguishing fires in depth such as a futon (bed) fire, cotton waste fire, cardboard fire as well as inflammable fires of oil such as gasoline that were difficult to extinguish by traditional reinforced liquid fire extinguishers that uses an alkali metal salt.

Mechanical foam (aqueous film) fire extinguisher

The new YFF-series pressure accumulation type

Made mainly of a surface active agent, offering improved alcohol resistance and dramatically improved fire extinguishing capability of the fires of alcohol blended fuels such as E3 gasoline produced by mixing 3% bioethanol (ETBE). Furthermore, it is free of organic fluorine compounds (PFOS) on which international regulations are being enforced.

The new carbon dioxide fire extinguisher

Pressure accumulation type

The carbon dioxide fire extinguisher comprises a cylinder meeting the requirements prescribed by law, the main body of which is injected with pressurized carbon dioxide to provide excellent fire extinguishing capability on fires involving electrical facilities and precision machinery and equipment.

Discharge device for metal fires

Metal fires caused by flammable metal powder tend to produce high combustion heat, and depending on the type of metal, there is a risk of fire spreading - since some metals may react with water and/or a fire extinguishing agent. Because of this risk, it is not possible to extinguish metal fires by using an ordinary fire extinguisher.

YAMATO PROTEC has conducted continuous research based on the fire extinguisher development technology fostered over many years to develop the discharge device for metal fires capable of dealing with a wide variety of metal fires.
