FTS-eddy1 is a non-contact, non-destructive eddy current tester for metal products. It can reliably eliminate abnormalities in materials and heat treatment that cannot be detected by visual inspection or dimensional measurement.

► Features

● Master coil and test coil can be used to measure a variety of metal parts by comparison method.

● By passing a test piece through a coil in which an overcurrent has flowed, it is possible to identify large flaws (defects), differences in shape and material, and hardness.

● Normally, hardness is measured by scratching with a hardness tester, so it can only be checked by sampling, However, with this product, 100,000 pieces can be inspected in a nondestructive manner for all 100,000 pieces.

Combination of automatic sorting machine + ELOTEST IS3, High-speed total sorting is possible!

The ELOTEST IS3 manufactured by Lohmann of Germany is an eddy current inspection system proposed as an option for the automatic sorting machine (VIZION glass table type).

By attaching it to an automatic sorting machine, it is possible to perform high-speed automatic sorting and eddy current testing at the same time. With a sorting speed of 150-300 pieces per minute, it is possible to inspect dimensions, deformation, and mix measures while determining the structure (heat treatment abnormalities) and dissimilar materials.

A special gate-shaped probe is fabricated to detect the presence or absence of induction hardening in the serration area. A range of eddy current waveforms is specified on the monitor to determine if it is good or bad.

The ability to determine abnormalities in heat treatment at a rate of 140 to 200 pieces per minute, while simultaneously sorting by CCD camera, is another attractive feature.
